Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens on the first call?

It is a 15-minute video call on Google Meet. You tell us what you need help with, whether that is your website, your Google listing, your email or your computers. We tell you what we recommend and what it would cost. If you do not need us, we will say so.

  • I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Not always. Many existing sites are fine, and the problem is an out-of-date Google listing or unanswered reviews instead. We can look at what you have on the first call and tell you which it is.

  • Why not build my own site with a website builder?

You can, but a website builder only gives you the tools. We design and write your site around your business and build it to current best practices: fast, mobile-first, and set up with technical SEO and schema so search engines understand it. We also run a local SEO program with pages for the towns and services you want to rank for, manage your Google Business Profile with weekly posts and review replies, and send a monthly report in plain English. After launch, we host the site, keep it up to date, make your changes for you and fix problems as they come up, with 24/7 emergency support.

  • Is it just a simple website, or can it do more?

It can do much more. A simple, or static, website works like a printed brochure: every visitor sees the same pages, and the most it can do is show information and send a basic contact form. We build sites that work more like an app. Pages respond to what each visitor does without reloading, and a backend, the part behind the scenes that stores and processes information, lets your site take bookings, save and sort form submissions, work out quotes, and give customers their own login. That means multi-step forms that change based on the answers, booking calendars, customer portals, and connections to the tools you already use. Larger features are quoted before we start.

  • How much does it cost?

The plan is $195 a month. That covers the site, hosting, SEO, your Google Business Profile, edits every month and support. Google Workspace is $20 a month per user, and your domain is billed at what the registry charges, usually $10 to $20 a year. There is no setup fee, and changes within your monthly allowance are not billed separately.

  • Is there a setup fee?

No. The monthly price is the full price. If you pay for the year up front, you get two months free.

  • Why is there a 12-month term?

Search rankings take months to improve, and most of the work on your listing and content pays off over a year rather than a few weeks. The term renews each year, and you can cancel at renewal.

  • Do I own my domain, email and Google listing?

Yes. Your domain is registered in your name, and your Google Workspace and Business Profile are your own accounts. We have administrator access to manage them. If you leave, they stay with you.

  • What if I stop working with you?

Your domain, email and Google listing are already yours, so nothing needs to be handed back. And because there is no setup fee, you have not paid a large amount up front. If you would rather own the website itself, you can buy it for $3,000 and then pay $25 a month to host it, and we hand over the code.

  • Who does the work?

We are a small company in Ratcliff, Arkansas, and we do the work ourselves. The person who builds your site is the same person who answers the phone. We do not use offshore contractors or resell another company’s service.

  • What does support include?

The plan includes 2 hours of website changes every month, and 24/7 emergency support for problems such as your site or email being down. Emergency time does not count against your allowance. Larger projects are quoted before we start.

  • Can I use the IT helpdesk without a web package?

Yes. The helpdesk is a separate service at $90 an hour, billed in 30-minute increments for the time we spend. You submit a request through your client portal and we work on it. Larger jobs are quoted before we start.

  • What is a workflow audit?

We look at how work moves through your business, such as quotes, scheduling, invoicing and anything that gets typed into more than one system. We then tell you what could be automated, what it would cost and how much time it would save. The audit is $1,500, and you are not obligated to have us build anything afterward.

  • Do you work outside the River Valley?

Yes, we work with businesses across Arkansas remotely. In the River Valley we can also meet you in person and take photos for your site ourselves.
