Website design questions
Will you replace the website I have now?
Absolutely. But it might not be worthwhile entirely replacing what you currently have. It depends on what you are looking to achieve. We'll review what you currently have and give our professional opinion.
Is a website builder good enough for my business?
A website builder gives you a template and tools to work with, but it's still a lot of work for someone inexperienced. It doesn't build a brand or necessarily bring leads. It doesn't grapple with SEO or GEO, and it doesn't make sure your site is fast, mobile-first, and accessible. Nor does it keep your site up to date or fix problems you might have accidentally caused.
Do I pay anything up front for a new website?
No, we don't charge a setup fee. After you onboard with us, we develop the initial version of the site, and only then if you approve it do you start a plan with us at $195/mo.
Why does the website plan have a 12-month minimum?
We don't want to lock you into a long-term contract, but we do want to make sure enough time has passed for the website to demonstrate value. SEO/GEO, reviews, and content take time to build up, and we want to make sure you have the opportunity to see that value.
What changes can I ask for after launch?
You can request any change you'd like. We do limit it to 2 hours per month, but we quote larger changes for your approval. We'll do whatever is necessary to make sure you are satisfied with the website.
What happens to my website if I cancel?
Your domain, email, and Google listing are yours and leave with you.
After the 12-month term ends, you can cancel without additional payment. If you leave sooner, you pay out the rest of your term.
If you want to keep the website, you can buy it for $3,000, and we transfer the code and assets. You can then host it anywhere you want. In this case, you won't owe the remainder of your term.
